NO REFUND, CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY

1. General No Refund Policy

Top Prospects Basketball Academy (TPBA) maintains a strict NO REFUND POLICY for its basketball development programs, training services, memberships, camps, clinics, club teams, and related services, except where refunds or cancellations are required by applicable law or expressly provided under this policy.

All purchases and payments are considered commitments to the selected program or service.

Once payment has been processed, refunds will not ordinarily be issued for voluntary withdrawal, changes in personal schedules, loss of interest, dissatisfaction with playing time, or failure to attend scheduled activities.

This policy does not waive or restrict any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law.

2. Membership Plans & Development Programs

This policy applies to TPBA membership programs, including:

  • Rookie Development Plan

  • All-Star Development Plan

  • Superstar Development Plan

  • Founders Program

  • Individual and Group Development Programs

  • Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual Programs

Membership fees reserve access to coaching, facilities, equipment, instruction, and program resources.

Unused sessions, voluntary absences, or failure to participate do not automatically qualify a member for a refund, credit, or reduction in fees.

Memberships are not transferable between athletes without written authorization from TPBA.

Membership cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellation of future billing does not automatically provide a refund for amounts already paid.

Any recurring billing terms, minimum commitments, cancellation deadlines, and legally required cancellation rights must be disclosed in the applicable membership agreement.

3. Individual Training & Group Sessions

Payments for individual training, small-group sessions, and scheduled group classes are nonrefundable except where required by law.

Athletes who miss or voluntarily decline scheduled training sessions are not automatically entitled to refunds.

Rescheduling or makeup sessions may be permitted subject to coach availability, advance notice requirements communicated at booking, and TPBA approval.

Failure to attend a scheduled session without notifying TPBA may result in forfeiture of that session.

TPBA reserves the right to make reasonable coaching, scheduling, or facility adjustments.

4. Club Teams & Competitive Programs

Participation fees for TPBA club teams and competitive basketball programs are nonrefundable except where otherwise required by law.

These payments may support:

  • Team registration and administration

  • Tournament and league participation

  • Coaching and player development

  • Practice facility expenses

  • Team operations and scheduling

  • Travel-related team commitments

  • Uniform and equipment arrangements

Voluntary withdrawal, removal for a documented violation of team rules, reduced playing time, or failure to attend team activities does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Selection to a club team does not guarantee playing time, a starting position, tournament exposure, or recruitment opportunities.

5. Camps, Clinics, Tryouts & Evaluations

Registration payments for TPBA camps, clinics, tryouts, player evaluations, and special development events are nonrefundable except where otherwise required by law.

A participant's failure to attend, late arrival, voluntary withdrawal, or inability to complete an activity does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Registration for a tryout or evaluation does not guarantee team selection, placement, or admission into any TPBA program.

6. Equipment & Specialized Training Services

Payments for specialized services, including Dr. Dish shooting sessions, VertiMax training, strength and conditioning sessions, and recovery services, are nonrefundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Equipment availability and services are subject to appropriate safety requirements, facility operations, and scheduled appointments.

If TPBA cannot provide a purchased service, the customer will be offered a lawful and appropriate remedy, which may include rescheduling, a credit accepted by the customer, or a refund as required by law.

7. Attendance, Injuries & Medical Circumstances

Voluntary absences, travel conflicts, school activities, or other personal scheduling conflicts do not automatically qualify for refunds.

Medical circumstances will be reviewed in accordance with applicable law and the athlete's membership or service agreement.

Where a qualifying medical condition creates a legal right to cancel, TPBA will honor that right and issue any legally required refund.

TPBA may request reasonable supporting documentation where permitted by law.

8. Program Changes & Cancellations by TPBA

TPBA reserves the right to modify coaching assignments, training schedules, or program arrangements when reasonably necessary.

If TPBA cancels a program or permanently becomes unable to provide purchased services, TPBA will comply with applicable cancellation and refund requirements.

Any offered alternative program, rescheduled service, or account credit will be subject to the customer's applicable legal rights.

9. Payment Authorization & Recurring Billing

Customers enrolling in recurring memberships authorize TPBA to process payments according to the billing schedule and terms accepted during enrollment.

All recurring charges, renewal provisions, billing dates, and cancellation procedures must be clearly disclosed before authorization.

Cancellation of future recurring payments does not automatically cancel amounts lawfully owed for services already provided or under an enforceable agreement.

TPBA will comply with applicable laws governing recurring billing, automatic renewals, and contract termination.

10. Exceptions Required by Law

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory or contractual refund or cancellation rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Where applicable, Florida law may provide rights involving cancellation periods, qualifying medical inability, death, facility relocation, discontinued services, or other legally specified circumstances.

In the event of a conflict between this policy and applicable law, the law controls.

11. Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment

By purchasing, enrolling in, or registering a minor athlete for TPBA services, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have been provided an opportunity to review the applicable payment, refund, and cancellation terms.

The parent or legal guardian agrees to those terms, subject to all rights and protections provided by law.

12. Contact & Cancellation Requests

All refund inquiries, cancellation requests, and payment disputes should be submitted through TPBA's designated administrative contact or approved registration and billing system.
